Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She's best known as Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, known as an accomplished actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk was featured in many commercials while she was just a child. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she began to meet him in 2007 in an actor's workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They were engaged in 2009, and were married in a civil ceremony in December of that year. In Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011they renewed their vows, following Silk's decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born in May 2013, a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk is well-known for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was awarded a nomination by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. In 2009 she landed the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show her good information that she was pregnant while filming the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to her work.
